Women's blouses
Blouses are some of our all-time favourite style icons. Their appeal lies somewhere between the casual look of a T-shirt and the formal undertones of a women's shirt. So they hit the brief every time. And of course, they come in countless variations. Choose light viscose, linen, or, for a more delicate and elegant look, opt for silk, or boho lace. Or you could make an impression with the fine sheen and warmer tones of velvet. If you want to roll out of the coffee shop and go straight to a special occasion, you can never go wrong with a Carmen blouse, tunic or tie-neck blouse. Check out our range of different styles and discover your favourite look!
The tie-neck blouse
Tie-neck blouses use a little detail to make a big impression: the bow on the collar. This bow ties at the neck and drapes loosely down the front. You can find tie-neck blouses with shirt collars, stand-up collars or V-necks. A sheer organza version can add a subtle, romantic flair. In white and with a high neck, it has a playful hint of school uniform. Pair with jeans and pumps for a cute look. Soft, flowing fabrics with wide necklines and big bows can counterbalance the formality of trouser suits and tailored skirts. Your go-to top for any occasion!
The dip hem blouse
When you're wearing a blouse with trousers, the same question will always come up: to tuck or not to tuck? And if you do tuck it in, the fabric always seems to bulk up under your trousers. Fortunately, there is a solution: the dip hem blouse. Short at the front and long at the back, this sort of blouse makes history of any waist dilemmas. It always sits just right. The shorter front lets you show off the detailing on your skirt or trouser waistband, while the back flows loosely over your hips. Pair with high-waisted trousers and pencil skirts for a stunning combo that looks stylish from all angles.
Statement sleeves
Puffed sleeves and trumpet sleeves are back! For a long time, tops have shown restraint when it comes to arms. With these new styles, short and long-sleeved blouses are turning heads once more with their playful, voluminous sleeves. Long trumpet sleeves are tighter at the top and flare out at the elbow like a funnel. A variant of this is the short angel sleeve, which flares from the shoulder like a bell. Puffed sleeves are also wider at the top and gathered in at the cuff. Short sleeves can often have ruffles too, for extra detail. And let's not forget puffy frills, ruffles and cut-outs for rocking your look. We'll take them all!

FAQs
How do I tuck my blouse into my trousers?
The general rule is this: if your blouse or shirt has a straight hem, you can leave it untucked. They're specially cut for this purpose. Otherwise, you can either tuck your blouse in all the way round, or just at the front. This is known as the front tuck, which is where you loosely tuck the front section into your waistband. The rest of your blouse hangs down freely at the back. If you prefer to tuck it in all the way round, you can either pull it smooth and tight or let it fall loosely over your waistband. A good trick is to tuck your blouse in and then lift your arms up above your head. Stretch your arms a little as you do this to pull some of the material out; it'll result in a completely natural look.
How do I wash my blouses?
Not all blouses are machine washable, as it depends on the fabric. Before you wash any piece of clothing, refer to the manufacturer's instructions on the label. If it's OK to go in the washing machine, use a mild or colour detergent to keep the fibres and colours looking crisp. For more delicate fabrics, avoid using a very fast spin. If possible, choose an easy-care programme or one designed for delicate items. Silk and lace blouses should ideally be washed by hand. Never wring them out. Instead, gently squeeze any water out of the material and hang up your blouses to dry.
How do I pack my blouses in a suitcase?
Obviously, you'll want to take your favourite pieces away with you. But how do you stop them from getting wrinkled? If you can avoid it, don't fold them, as this will result in unwelcome creases. Try rolling crease-resistant material instead. Another option is to lay your blouses and shirts flat in your suitcase and layer them on top of each other. You can put tissue paper between the layers to stop the pieces from rubbing against each other. To do this, start by laying your blouse flat. Place a piece of tissue or baking paper over the back and fold the sleeves in along the shoulder seam. The packing order is just as important. Heavy items such as shoes and jeans go at the bottom of your suitcase. Light blouses and shirts are best on top where they won't be squashed as much.
