Soak children's clothes!

Stains. Everywhere. Constantly. Sound familiar? Children have an unfailing ability to place new, colorful and sometimes mysterious stains on their clothes every day. In order to best and most effectively take care of stained children's clothes, it is important that you soak them for a while before washing them. Put the garment in warm water, add a little detergent and leave for a few hours before washing. Even tough spots such as grass stains will disappear more easily with this method.

Temperatures for washing baby clothes

When life moves at maximum speed, it is easy to forget to look at the laundry labels before you wash, and instead just throw everything in the machine and run the standard washing program. This is a great way to ruin both your baby's clothes and your finances. A quick look at the label gives you quick and easy washing tips and lets the children's favorite garments live a little longer.

Detergent for children's clothing

Always store chemicals in a safe place, out of reach of children. Detergent for baby clothes are no exception, even when using a perfume-free baby detergent. Preferably high up in a locked cupboard, to avoid any accidents.

Some quick tips for caring for stains:

  • Quickly wipe off the cause of the stain (sauce, grease, paint and the like). Use a damp cloth.
  • Rinse the garment in warm water to remove as much of the stain from the fabric as possible. If you do this immediately after the garment has been soiled, it will be easier to clean when you wash the clothes in the washing machine.
  • Soak in water with a little detergent for 30-60 minutes before washing children's clothes.
  • Without rinsing the garment, put it directly in the washing machine together with other laundry. Wash in as warm water as the garment can take without damaging or shrinking it (check the washing symbols).
  • Boom. Clean children's clothes.

Wash small children’s and babies clothes

For really small children and babies, it is important to be extra careful when washing. New clothes, sheets and stuffed animals often contain different types of chemicals, which are used, for example, to dye textiles or to prevent clothes from getting wrinkled during transport. Therefore, you should always wash children's clothes and stuffed animals before using them for the first time.

Your baby also has a sensitive immune system that is still developing, so it is important that they are not exposed to too strong detergents.
