Different hair oils for different hair types

Whether hair oil contains silicone or not is up to the user's preference. Both variants are available. But when it comes to finding the right oil for different hair types, background knowledge is extremely useful:

• Thin, weak hair is built up by oil made from egg yolk.

How, when and how often is hair oil used?

Depending on the condition of the hair, a few drops are rubbed between the fingers and gently massaged into the hair before or after shampooing, or whenever needed. Especially fine, flat hair and a dry scalp enjoy an oil treatment before shampooing. The application time is about 10 minutes. Afterwards, the hair is washed as usual. Oil also nourishes the hair after washing. However, as it is then used as a leave-in, it is no longer applied to the scalp area but only to the lengths and tips. For dry, split ends, it is good to add a few drops to the styling every now and then.
